Introducing Stacey Lee: CfC’s New Development Director
I am delighted to introduce Stacey Lee to the CfC team as our new Development Director! Stacey joined us in November, bringing her expertise, energy, and passion to advance CfC’s mission. Stacey is commited to strengthening CfC’s mission, deepening our donor relationships, and amplifying the impact of our work around the globe.
Leader in Fundraising and Engagement
Stacey brings a wealth of experience in fundraising and donor engagement, having successfully led campaigns that raised millions for mission-driven organizations. She has a knack for connecting with people in meaningful ways and a strategic mindset that will help CfC grow its network of supporters. With Stacey at the helm of our development efforts, we’re excited to expand our reach and deepen our impact in the communities we serve.
Advancing Gender Equity
In addition to her fundraising expertise, Stacey is a passionate advocate for gender diversity. She is committed to fostering inclusive opportunities for women in engineering, construction, and leadership roles. Stacey believes in creating spaces where women contribute to CfC’s mission-driven initiatives. Her dedication to gender equity aligns seamlessly with CfC’s values, ensuring our work is not only impactful but also inclusive.
CfC’s Mission in Action: A Visit to Africa
In November 2024, Stacey visited our team in Africa, touring both current and completed construction sites. She saw firsthand the incredible progress made by our local teams—individuals embedded in their communities who are essential to CfC’s success. These local experts bring invaluable knowledge, source labor and resources locally, and inspire their communities to take ownership of each project. Stacey returned from the trip inspired and more determined than ever to support CfC’s work to empower communities from within.
Looking Ahead: Big Plans for 2025
This May, we’re excited to host CfC’s Spring Event & Auction—our next major fundraising initiative to support critical projects and expand our global impact. This event will bring together our community of supporters, including our incredible partners from leading engineering, architectural, and construction firms who generously donate their expertise to drive our mission forward.
The funds raised during the event will empower CfC to continue sourcing local labor, fostering community-led solutions, and building the social infrastructure needed to create transformative, long-term change in communities worldwide.
